Rangoli is a traditional art form of India. It is practised throughout India and it has different regional names too. It is made to decorate the home. It is created on the floor of living room, the entrance of the home, courtyard. It is drawn by chalk or rice flour and adorned with coloured rice, coloured sand, coloured powder or flower petals, leaves and candles. It can be in different pattern and design, size. It is made on auspicious occasion and during festivals.ย It has spiritual significance.
